چکیده

The effect of the peptide elicitor AtPep1 on resistance soybean and pea plants to oxidative stress was studied. concentration 10– 9 mol/L has maximum these plants. It shown that treatment aerial part seedlings with this leads an increase in activity peroxidase superoxide dismutase a decrease level lipid peroxidation products under stress. Effects of seed pretreatment with 24-brassinolide on physiological and biochemical characters in tomato plants under salt stress

In order to study the diverse effects of seed priming with 24-epibrassinolide (EBL) (0, 0.1, 1 mg/l) to increase tolerance of tomato plants (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) to salinity (0, 70 and 140 mM NaCl), the experiments were conducted as factorial based on completely randomized design at greenhouse condition. Results showed that salt stress significantly decreased the growth of tomato plan...

Physiological, Biochemical, and Molecular Mechanisms of Heat Stress Tolerance in Plants

High temperature (HT) stress is a major environmental stress that limits plant growth, metabolism, and productivity worldwide. Plant growth and development involve numerous biochemical reactions that are sensitive to temperature. Plant responses to HT vary with the degree and duration of HT and the plant type. HT is now a major concern for crop production and approaches for sustaining high yiel...

Physiological and Biochemical Changes in Brassica juncea Plants under Cd-Induced Stress

Plants of Brassica juncea L. var. RLC-1 were exposed for 30 days to different concentrations (0, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 mM) of cadmium (Cd) to analyze the Cd uptake, H2O2 content, hormonal profiling, level of photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll, carotenoid, and flavonoid), gaseous exchange parameters (photosynthetic rate, vapour pressure deficit, intercellular CO2 concentration, and intrinsic mesop...

Physiological and biochemical response of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum cv. Rio Grande) to foliar application of biostimulant under water deficit stress

In order to study the effect of physiological and biochemical responses of tomato cv. Rio Grande to foliar spray of Megafol under water deficit stress, an experiment was carried out in a split plot based on randomized complete block design with three replicates in Research Filed of university of Zanjan as during 2015. Treatments consisted arrangement of three irrigation levels (starting irrigat...

physiological and Biochemical responses of different sesame (sesamum indicum) genotypes under salinity stress

Sesame seeds are a good source for food and health due to their protein and unsaturated fatty acids and secondary metabolites such as lignans. Soil and water salinity is one of the most important factors limiting the growth of this crop. By examining the physiological reactions related to salinity tolerance among different landraces and cultivars, tolerant and sensitive cultivars can be selecte...
